Welcome to Balé—where stories find home. This is a house built of quiet words, moonlit letters, and the memories we carry across time and distance. Rooted in heritage and nurtured by wonder, Balé is a gathering space for poetry, travel reflections, cultural memory, and slow storytelling. Whether you’ve come here to read, remember, or return to something once lost—this is your place, too. Welcome home.
I stood at the top of the Space Needle today, watching the sun dip lower and lower behind the skyline of Seattle. The sky was a painting, with shades of gold, pink, and purple swirling together like a dream. The city stretched out beneath me, full of life, lights, and movement, but up there, on that observation deck, everything felt so still. It was as if the whole world paused for just a moment, and I was holding my breath, taking it all in.
From where I stood, Seattle felt so small and yet so vast, like a world unto itself, a place full of stories, memories, and moments yet to come. The city’s heartbeat was steady, but up there, I felt like I could see everything—the way the water glittered in the distance, the way the buildings cast their long shadows as the sun began to set. There was something so peaceful about it all, yet exhilarating at the same time.
I thought about you, wondering what it would be like if we were there together, watching the sunset over Seattle. I imagined the quiet awe we would share, gazing out over the city, maybe holding hands, or talking softly about dreams and things that make us who we are. I could picture us in that moment, enjoying the simplicity of being with each other, in awe of the world around us.
There’s a line from blue by Yung Kai that keeps running through my mind: “I’ll trust the universe will always bring me to you.” It feels so fitting — that even though we’re apart now, I know that the universe is working to bring us together, in the perfect moment, just as it brought me here today, to witness this sunset.
“I’ll trust the universe will always bring me to you.”

Until that day comes, I’ll hold onto that trust—in the universe, in fate, and in us. I’ll carry these moments with me—the quiet sunsets, the breathtaking views, the city below—and the dream that one day, we’ll share them together.
